Conn 6M Alto Saxophone (1967)
Conn 6M Professional Model Alto Saxophone. Made in Elkhart Indiana. Serial number K20105 dates this saxophone to 1967. This is a late model 6M and while not as sought-after as the same model from the 1940s, it is still a very nice horn and a great value for the money. This model features: underslung octave key on a double socket neck and set screws on the pivot screws. Original lacquer is around 70% with nickel plated keywork. There are no solder repairs. There are some very minor dings and some poor ding removal evidence on the bell. This saxophone is in excellent playing condition. Pads with dome plastic resonators are in new condition. While it is not cosmetically pretty, it is a strong playing alto. Non-original case shows wear, but still usable condition. Among the last of a legendary line of saxophones.
