This Morgan mouthpiece is made of a pure 100% hard rubber formula similar to the hard rubber used to make mouthpieces in the 1920s - 1950s. These have a large round chamber with low baffle similar to vintage hard rubber C-Melody mouthpieces. Unlike the vintage C-Melody mouthpieces, this one has very playable tip openings 3 (.075), 4 (.080), 5 (.085) and 6 (.090). It is also designed to use modern tenor reeds. These are easily the best C-Melody mouthpieces on the market and possibly the best ever made. If you are a serious C-Melody player, this is the mouthpiece for you.
