Zagar Hot School Experimental (.102) Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece
Back in the early to mid 2000s, JunkDude Music was the North American distributor of the Zagar mouthpieces.
This mouthpiece was a special "Experimental" version of the Zagar Hot School Model mouthpiece. As far as I know, only 2 of these were made. It is stamped with an X on the shank. These were made with a different and much more expensive alloy than the regular Hot School Models. These were specifically made for one of the top players in the world to try, but before we could get any feedback from the player, our business relationship with Zagar ended.
This mouthpiece is still in new condition. Tip opening measures .102.
